There will be thousands of shows and tens of thousands of performances to choose from when the Edinburgh Festival Fringe gets going, August 3 to 25 this year.
Though tickets are usually available for some shows on the day of the performance, the hottest shows sell out months in advance. The best way to get a ticket is to get your hands on a festival programme and book early.
This year, festival programs will be launched - and mailed - on June 5, but you can pre-order one today, online at the festival website. The program is free but it's hefty, so postage costs £3.50 to the UK, £5 to Europe and £9 to the rest of the world - that means you, USA. It's worth every penny.
Tickets go on sale on June 9 and the famous Fringe Sunday takes place this year on August 10.
